Dane Gahr (Brick, N.J.), who struck out seven Chargers in a four-hit shutout, 3-0. Unfortunately, Dominican College came alive in the second game, splitting the twin bill with a 12-5 win. Senior second baseman

Brendan Looby (Sewell, N.J) each recorded five hits in the afternoon.
In game two, Dominican College (10-17, 4-6) had six runs on the scoreboard before Chestnut Hill College (12-12, 9-5) could muster a response. They were able to get two runs home in the fourth inning with a lead-off walk to Woltemate, a double from Looby, and a run scoring single from senior designated hitter
Joseph Mullin (Warrington, Pa.), 6-2, and another in the fifth inning with back-to-back two-out hits from junior right fielder
Michael McLaughlin (Philadelphia, Pa.) and Woltemate, 6-3. Unfortunately, the Chargers got to the Griffins bullpen for four more runs in the seventh inning, 10-3, before evening the afternoon with a 12-5 win.
Gahr (2-2) gave the Chargers some early opportunities, but he did not allow a hit after the fourth inning in the first complete game effort of his collegiate career. His teammates provided him with runs in the first, 1-0, third, 2-0, and seventh innings, 3-0, with a fielder's choice from sophomore first baseman

The baseball team will break from their CACC schedule to make up an early-season postponement with West Chester University when they host the Golden Rams in a 6:00 p.m. contest on Monday, April 14.
