FIT (10-3) jumped out to a 2-0 lead with wins at number two doubles, 8-1, and number one doubles, 8-6. Then, freshman

Felix Andre (Berlin, Germany) got Chestnut Hill College (3-4) on the scoreboard with their dramatic 9-8 (6) triumph at number three doubles, 2-1.
The Panthers extended their position with a 6-3, 6-2, win at number one singles (3-1), a point that was quickly matched with Andre's 6-2, 6-1, win at number three singles (3-2). The give and take awarded FIT the next point, as they secured number two singles by a 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, final (4-2). The following point clinched the match for the Panthers, it came in the fourth individual flight where senior Wade Ball (Royal Palm Beach, Fla.) beat Gautier in matching 7-5, 7-5, sets (5-2). Ducretot and Regalin endured for wins in their remaining individual competitions; the former won the fifth flight, 6-4, 6-3, (5-3) and the latter won the sixth, 6-3, 6-3, (5-4).
The Chestnut Hill College men's tennis team returns home to prepare for a 12:00 p.m. match at the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) on Friday, March 17.
