Jonathan Ducretot (Antibes, France) scored the Scarlet and Gold's winning point with his 6-3, 6-1, victory at number four singles.
The Chestnut Hill College (10-5, 4-0) doubles points came correspondingly at number one doubles, 8-4, from sophomore
Pierre Kohler (Les Sables d'Olonne, France) and Ducretot, number three doubles, 8-4, from freshman
Antoine Gautier (Eysines, France) and sophomore
Felix Andre (Berlin, Germany) and number two doubles, 8-2, from juniors,
Pedro Festugato Regalin (Caxias do Sul, Brazil) and
Lucas Bocaletto (Itatiba, Brazil).
Kohler scored the first Chestnut Hill College singles win with his 6-2, 6-1, triumph in the number one flight. Ducretot's clincher came next, 6-3, 6-1, and it was followed by Philadelphia University's (8-6, 2-2) only point of the match at number three singles, 6-3, 6-0. Victor Iove (Tournai, Belgium) scored a 6-1, 6-1, victory, at number two singles, where Andre recorded a 6-3, 6-4, win, and at number five singles, 6-4, 6-4, where Gautier secured the last point.
Chestnut Hill College briefly breaks from their CACC schedule to visit Millersville University and Villanova University for a pair of non-conference matches. The first of the two affairs is scheduled for a 2:00 p.m. opening serve tomorrow, Friday, April 14.
