Victor Iove (Tournai, Belgium) led the round off with an 8-0 win at number three doubles, 1-0. Freshman
Antoine Gautier (Eysines, France) and sophomore
Felix Andre (Berlin, Germany) followed with an 8-1 win at number two doubles, 2-0, before sophomore
Pierre Kohler (Les Sables d'Olonne, France) and senior
Jonathan Ducretot (Antibes, France) completed the team format sweep with their 8-3 win at number one doubles, 3-0.
It was Oranges and Iove that also secured the match; Iove first extended the Chestnut Hill College (6-5, 1-0) lead to 4-0 with his 6-0, 6-0, win at number five singles, then Oranges added the match-winner with his 6-0, 6-1, triumph in the six singles flight. Additional individual wins for the Scarlet and Gold were scored at number four singles (6-0, 6-1) by Gautier, number three singles (6-2, 6-1) by Ducretot, number one singles (6-4, 6-1) by Kohler, and number two singles (6-4, 6-0) by Andre.
Briefly breaking from CACC play, Chestnut Hill College visits Millersville University for a 2:00 p.m. match on Friday, April 7.
