Kim Kolesnik is pleased to announce the
2017 promotional schedule and offer an open invitation to all of GriffinNation for tonight's Scarlet & Gold Match. Scarlet & Gold events such as this serve as a kickoff for many of our athletic programs. All of GriffinNation is encouraged to attend, support, and sometimes participate, as our student-athlete showcase their talents. This season's promotional schedule features some traditional theme nights like Get Real with Teal, Side-Out Foundation Dig Pink Night, Go4theGoal/Lace-Up for Pediatric Cancer, and Senior Night, as well as the all-new Faculty Appreciation Night.
The opening serve for the 2017 Women's Volleyball Promotional Schedule is this evening's, Wednesday, August 30, Scarlet and Gold Night (6:00 p.m.). Dating back to 2013, Chestnut Hill College has invited members of GriffinNation to join them in Sorgenti Arena for an intra-squad scrimmage, a serving competition, giveaways, and more. This is a FYI Passport Event, so be sure to stop by Sorgenti Arena, get your stamp, and stay for the fun!

As for the upcoming 2017 schedule, the Chestnut Hill College women's volleyball team will be hosting promotional nights during the following matches;
Friday, September 22 vs. Caldwell University: Get Real With Teal Night @ 5:00 p.m.
In partnership with the
Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation, the Chestnut Hill College women's volleyball team aims to raise awareness of ovarian cancer. Members of GriffinNation are encouraged to wear teal in support.
Tuesday, October 3 vs. Jefferson University: Faculty Appreciation Night @ 7:00 p.m.
This event will be the first of its kind for Chestnut Hill College Athletics. Faculty members will be invited by one of the women's volleyball players. Each faculty member will have their own reserved seat and will be recognized during the match. After the match, the honored faculty are invited to join the team for a dessert reception.
Wednesday, October 11 vs. Georgian Court University: Side-Out Dig Pink @ 7:00 p.m.
In partnership with the
Side-Out Foundation, the Griffins ask all those in attendance to "Dig Pink." In support of breast cancer awareness, all are asked to wear pink. The evening will feature a 50/50 raffle and a prize for the fan wearing the most pink, as well as a serving competition following the match, t-shirt sales, and sponsors for digs. All proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Tuesday, October 17 vs. USciences: Go4theGoal/Lace Up for Pediatric Cancer @ 7:00 p.m.
In partnership with the Go4theGoal Foundation, the Chestnut Hill College women's volleyball team joins thousands of teams across the country to support the children who suffer from pediatric cancer by lacing up in Go4theGoal's gold laces. All funds stay in the community where they are raised to support local children.
Saturday, November 11 vs Wilmington University: Senior Night @ 6:00 p.m.
The fitting end to any season, the Chestnut Hill College women's volleyball team recognizes their graduating senior class. Senior Days serve as an homage to those Griffins who have devoted so much of their time and energy to their sport. Before the match, senior student-athletes are given a commemorative picture frames while the public address announcer reads a brief summary of their accomplishments. Afterwards, they pose for pictures with their families, friends, and fellow teammates before competing in their final home contest. Please join us for this very special evening of Griffin Pride.
The Chestnut Hill College women's volleyball team opens the 2017 season on Friday, September 1, when they travel to Rockville Centre, New York, for the Molloy College Invitational. The home opener is scheduled for Wednesday, September 13, when the Griffins welcome Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) rival Goldey-Beacon College to Sorgenti Arena for 7:00 p.m. match.
