Philadelphia, Pa. - (1/24/2018) – The Chestnut Hill College Department of Athletics and Recreation cordially invites all members of GriffinNation to join us in recognizing the 2017 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Tennis Championship Team during halftime of the Chestnut Hill College women's basketball game versus local, league rival Jefferson University (6:00 p.m., Eastern). The Sorgenti Arena lights will dim as each student-athlete and coach from the College's first-ever National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II conference championship roster is honored with a championship jacket to commemorate the achievement.

Under 2017 BSN Sports/CACC Men's Tennis Coach of the Year, Ryan Gargullo the 2016-2017 men's tennis team achieved one of the most historic seasons in Chestnut Hill College Athletics history. Among their 16 wins, one was a 6-3 triumph over #32 NYIT, and two were triumphs over NCAA Division I opponents, La Salle University and Villanova University. With a talented line-up that featured the 2017 CACC Men's Tennis Player of the Year and #1 ITA East Region Singles player;
Pierre Kohler, the 2017 CACC Men's Tennis Rookie of the Year; sophomore
Antoine Gautier (Eysines, France), as well as, All-CACC First Team selections junior
Felix Andre (Berlin, Germany) and
Jonathan Ducretot (Antibes, France), the Griffins captured the College first-ever CACC Championship.
