Box Score | Philadelphia, Pa. - (4/13/2018) – Today's Senior Day match featured a clash of Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) titans as Chestnut Hill College hosted Concordia College (NY) for a league match. Senior Felix Andre (Berlin, Germany) and sophomore Adam Gavin (Gothenburg, Sweden) concluded the doubles round with the Griffins' first point of the affair, unfortunately, only sophomore Antoine Gautier (Eysines, France) earned an individual victory for as the Clippers subdued the Scarlet and Gold celebration in a 7-2 end.
 
Concordia College (11-4, 2-0) scored the first two points of the match with doubles wins in the first (8-4) and second (8-5) flights. But Chestnut Hill College (9-6, 2-1) managed to cut the Clipper lead in half before the end of the team round with Andre and Gavin capturing an 8-3 win at number three doubles. Regrettably, Concordia College clinched the CACC prize with the first three points of singles play at number two (6-3, 6-3), number four (6-4, 6-3), and number six (6-3, 6-3). They added to their margin of victory by bookending Gautier's 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) triumph at number three singles with wins at number one (6-2, 6-3) and number five (3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7-1) singles.


 
Prior to the start of this evening's match the Chestnut Hill College Department of Athletics recognized Andre and fellow seniors, Lucas Bocaletto (Itatiba, Brazil) and Pedro Festugato Regalin (Caxias do Sul, Brazil), for their historic contributions to the men's tennis program.
 
The Chestnut Hill College men's tennis team engages yet another National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) East Regional opponent on Sunday, April 15, when they visit Queens College for a 5:00 p.m. match.
