Felix Andre (Berlin, Germany). Additional Scarlet and Gold singles points followed at number two, number four, and number five singles, pushing Chestnut Hill College's margin of victory to seven points, 8-1.
The senior duo of
Lucas Bocaletto (Itatiba, Brazil) and
Pedro Festugato Regalin (Caxias do Sul, Brazil) combined for the first Chestnut Hill College (7-5, 1-0) point, winning the number one doubles flight, 8-4. Freshman
Jesus Darias (Bolivar, Venezuela) and sophomore
Antoine Gautier (Eysines, France) followed with their 9-7 win at number two doubles, but the Griffins were not able to sweep the round as Post University (3-8, 1-1) claimed the point at number three doubles, 8-6.
Chestnut Hill College's necessary singles scores came at number three (6-1, 6-3), number six (6-1, 6-2), and number one (6-4, 6-3) with respective wins from Bocaletto, Regalin, and Andre. Darias won the number two singles flight next, 6-3, 6-4, and not long after that Gautier and sophomore
Adam Gavin (Gothenburg, Sweden) respectively earned the final points of the match at number four (1-6, 6-2, 6-2) and number five (6-3, 7-5).
