Limerick, Pa. - (1/20/2018) – With a 1-2 showing in today's Bracket play at Limerick Bowl, Chestnut Hill College finished the Kutztown University Invitational with a 3-10 record. Sophomore Christina Del Vecchio (Warrington, Pa.) led the Griffins in fill-frame percentage, clearing her lane with a 91.6% efficiency. Sophomore Takara Wigfall (Forestville, Md.) provided an 88.8% fill-frame success rate.
Chestnut Hill College (26-22) faced #17 Monmouth University in the first round the best-of-seven Bracket. Del Vecchio marked in all 14 attempts, but it was not enough as the Hawks defeated the Scarlet and Gold by a 4-3 measure.

Medaille College caught fire in the next match, overwhelming Chestnut Hill College in a 4-2 final. Del Vecchio and Wigfall filled 11-of-12 frames.

The Griffins grabbed a victory in their last match of the invitational, topping Howard University for a second time, 4-1. Senior Rebeccah Edelman (Oakford, Pa.) and Sophomore Kristina Scimone (Gibbsboro, N.J.) each filled seven-of-eight frames to lead the Griffins.
Chestnut Hill College competes next on Saturday, February 2, when they join Kutztown University and other at Jay Lanes in Douglassville, Pennsylvania, for the Bowling for a Kure Tournament.
