Reading, Pa. - (2/8/2019) – On day one of Kutztown University's Golden Bear Classic Baker, the Chestnut Hill went 3-2 and finished in 10^th place (10th of 16, 3W-2L, 4,269 pins). #17 LIU Brooklyn defeated the Griffins 844-787 first competition of the day, the Scarlet and Gold bounced back with a 911-802 win over Norfolk State University. #11 St. Francis University (PA), - who rolled a baker-300 game earlier - defeated the Griffins by a 976-812 measure. Chestnut Hill College defeated Walsh College, 854-720, and in a total team effort, defeated Mt. St Mary's University in the final, 894-807. 

Chestnut Hill College returns to action at the Golden Bears Classic tomorrow, Saturday, February 9, when they resume competition versus #24 Adelphi University.
