Lafayette Hill, Pa. – (3/26/2019) – Chestnut Hill College had the difficult task of holding off #3 Mercy College in today's non-conference matchup at Victory Field #1. The Griffins held their own early, only trailing 4-2 at the half. Unfortunately, a 23-10 shooting differential in the second half had its effect on the final result as the Mavericks escaped with a 12-7 victory. Senior attack

Scott Wilden (Wexford, Pa.) (3-2, 6:54) recorded Chestnut Hill College's (3-4) first-half goals, keeping the Griffins competitive with Mercy College (10-0) in a 4-2 halftime spread. In the second half, the Mavericks' extended their advantage 7-2 (7:38) before Brown deposited his second goal (7-3, 5:28) to break the run.
