New Haven, Conn. - (8/25/2021) – League commissioner Dan Marra has officially released the results of the 2021 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Volleyball Preseason Coaches Poll. Chestnut Hill College received 38 total points to forecast a fifth-place finish in the CACC South Division. Holy Family University was given top billing in the South Division with 81 total points and nine of the 13 available first-place votes. In the North Division, Felician University stood atop the predicted standings with 60 total points and five first-place votes. The CACC Preseason Coaches Polls are voted on by the league's head coaches of the respective sport.

Matching Felician University's five first-place votes, Post University ranked second in the CACC North Division with 56 total points. They were followed by Caldwell University (55 total points, 2 first-place votes), Bloomfield College (38, 1), Nyack College (31), and Dominican College (27). Meanwhile, behind the Tigers, the CACC South's forecasted standings included defending league champion, Georgian Court University (74, 4), Thomas Jefferson University (Jefferson) (54), Wilmington University (53), Chestnut Hill College (38), the University of the Sciences (USciences) (36), and Goldey-Beacom College (19).

Felician University stood atop the CACC standings at the end of the 2019 season, but was one of three CACC North Division teams to sport a 1-5 conference record during the Spring 2021 CACC season. The Golden Falcons top returnee is junior setter Miquela Martinez, who was an All-CACC performer during the pandemic season with 247 assists (3^rd in CACC), and 8.52 assists-per-set (2^nd in CACC).

Holy Family University has appeared in each of the last three CACC Championships, winning in 2018 (3-1 over Post University) and 2019 (3-1 over Georgian Court University), before coming up short against the Lions in the Spring-2021 revenge match. The Tigers welcome back three All-CACC performers from last Spring, including CACC Setter of the Year, senior Morgan Silks (Norristown, Pa.) and CACC Co-Player of the Year, fifth-year outside hitter/middle blocker Camille Johnson (Columbia, Md.). Silks paced league setters with 326 assists and 11.24 assists-per-game, while Johnson ranked ninth in the league for points (98.0) with 67 kills (16^th), 15 aces (4^th), and 25 blocks (3^rd).

Inactive during the Spring 2021 CACC season, Chestnut Hill College returns five student-athletes who helped the Griffins to a historical 2019 campaign. Most notable among the group is 2019 Coach's Award winner, junior setter/right side Henielys Ramos (Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico). Ramos led the 2019 Griffins in assists (535) and assists-per-set (5.46), while producing 264.5 points (220 Kills, 34 Aces, 20 Blocks).
