Chestnut Hill College Women's Volleyball player Mikayla Grimes has been named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference women's volleyball weekly honor roll for her performance in the Griffins' two matches last week.

This marks the second time this season that Grimes (Fresno, Calif.) has been named to the weekly honor roll, having earned the honor during the first week of the season on August 29.

Grimes recorded double digit numbers for kill sin both Chestnut Hill contests last week.  She opened the week with ten kills in a 3-0 loss at Shippensburg while also earning three blocks.  On Saturday, the senior hitter notched 16 kills in the Griffins' thrilling five-set win over Pace University.  Grimes also added eight digs and two blocks versus the Setters.

For the week, Grimes averaged 3.25 kills per set (26 kills total), 1.38 digs/set, 0.63 service aces/set  and 0.63 blocks/set along with a 4.2 points/set average.

The Chestnut Hill Women's Volleyball team will be back in action on Thursday, September 15, 2022 when they host Post University in a CACC crossover contest at Sorgenti Arena.  Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
