Make it three straight wins for the Chestnut Hill College Women's Tennis team as the defeated Bloomsburg University 7-0 Wednesday afternoon in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.

The Griffins improve to 3-1 on the season while Bloomsburg fell to 0-1.

Opening with the doubles competition, the Griffins swept all three matches to jump out to a 1-0 lead in the contest.  Ali Isaac and Nele Haag was the first doubles team to finish, recording a 6-1 win at #2 doubles while Annika Wise and Claudia Rasilla were 6-3 victors at #3 doubles.  Carlota Garcia Arguelles and Romi Meirovich completed the doubles sweep with a 7-5 win at #1 doubles.

Isaac defeated Lexi Quackenbush, 6-2, 6-1 at #2 singles to give the Griffins their next point and a 2-0 lead.  Haag followed with a 6-2, 6-3 win at #3 singles and Garcia Arguelles clinched the match with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Nicole Ilkovis at #1 singles, making the match score 4-0.

Rasilla improved to 3-0 in singles play with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Alyssa Mazurek at #6 singles to make the score 5-0.  Meirovich and Wise completed the sweep with Meirovich winning 6-0, 3-6, 1-0 (10-4) at #5 singles and Wise winning 2-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-4) at #4 singles.

The Chestnut Hill College Women's Tennis Team returns to action on Saturday, September 17, 2022 when the host East Stroudsburg university at the CHC tennis Court.  First serve is set for noon.
