The Chestnut Hill College Women's Tennis team continues to put up impressive numbers, defeating East Stroudsburg University for their fourth consecutive win on Saturday at the CHC Tennis courts.

The Griffins are now 4-1 overall.   Over the course of their fou- game win streak, Chestnut Hill has won 33 of 34 matches including all 11 doubles contests played.

The doubles streak continued on Saturday as Nele Haag and Alison Isaac  defeated Sophie Goldin and Sherin Paul  6-0 at #2 doubles clinching the doubles point.  Carlota Garcia Arguelles and Romi Meirovich followed with a 6-1 win over Montana Catalan and Samantha Passmore.  With the Warriors fielding only five players no #3 doubles match was played.

Claudia Rasilla won by default at #6 singles making the score 2-0 while Meirovich, Isaac and Haag respectively won #5, #2 and #3 singles by identical 6-0, 6-0 scores, giving the Griffins a 5-0 lead.  Annika Wise defeated Jesse Galvin at #4 singles 6-1, 6-0 while Garcia Arguelles won in straight sets over Passmore  6-2, 6-0 to complete the sweep.

For the season , Rasilla is a perfect 4-0 in singles play (#6 singles) while the doubles team of Isaac and Haag are a perfect 5-0. (#2 doubles)  The Griffins top three singles players Garcia Arguelles, Isaac and Haag are all 4-1 on the season.
 
The Chestnut Hill College Women's Tennis Team will head to the ITA East Regional Championships in flushing, New York for their next competition on the courts.  The tournament begins on September 22 and runs until September 26.
