The Chestnut Hill College Men's Golf team opened their 2024-35 season Thursday morning, competing in a tri-match at Jeffersonville Golf Club with Goldey-Beacom College and host Jefferson University.
The Griffins finished the match with a score of 326 to place third behind Jefferson and Goldey-Beacom who tied on the afternoon with a score of 304. The host Rams won the tiebreaker as their fifth golfer beat Goldey-Beacom's fifth golfer by four strokes.
Individually, all five Griffin golfers finished within four strokes of each other, with
Jack Bulman leading the way with a score of 80 and placing ninth overall.Â
Hugo Almeida was one stroke behind Bulman and finished in 11
th place with a score of 81.Â
Rounding out the Griffins golfers were
Rogelio Gerena (82, 12
th place);
Chase Forsyth (83, 14
th place) and
P.J. Schulte (84, 15 place)
The men's golf team is back on the links on Monday September 9 as they travel to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania for the two-day West Chester University Battlefield Classic. Tee times for Monday begin at 1:30 p.m.
