The Chestnut Hill College Men's golf team struggled in their final round at the Thomas Jefferson University Spring invitational on Friday at the Jeffersonville golf Club in Norristown, finishing the two day tournament in ninth place.
Entering the day holding seventh place after the first round, the Griffins score was 324 for their final round, dropping them into ninth place as the tournament came to its conclusion. The Griffins two day score of 634 was four strokes behind eighth place Bloomsburg University. St. Thomas Aquinas College won the tournament with a two round score of 588.
Rogelio Gerena finished as the Devils top competitor, shooting a score of 80 on the final day to finish in a tie for 13th place with a two round score of 154.   Trevor Dendler was six strokes behind Gerena with a score of 160 (78, 82) while Kiefer Sharman had a 161(80, 81). Noah Cutting rounded out the competitors with a score of 165 (84, 81).
The men's golf team returns to action on April 6, 2026 for the start of the dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational hosted by West Chester University at Penn Oaks Golf Club.
