Griffins Place Sixth at Charger Challenge in New York

The Chestnut Hill College Golf finished their competition at the Charger Challenge at Spook Rock Golf Course in Suffern, New York,  with a final round of 321, giving the team a two-day score of 627 to finish in sixth place.

Chestnut Hill's 627 score was seven strokes behind fifth place Franklin pierce University and 37 behind Adelphi University who captured thew team title.

Individually Rogelio Gerena was the Griffins' top finisher, shooting rounds of 76 and 78 for a total of 154, ten strokes behind the overall winner and tied for 16th place.  Chase Forsyth finished one stroke behind Gerena at 155 and tied for 19th place.

P.J. Schulte was the Griffins #3 finisher with a score of 160 and tied for 26th place.  Jack Bulman rounded out Chestnut Hill's four scorers with a two round score of 162 to place tied for 31st.  Kiefer Sharman also shot a two-round score of 162.

The men's golf team will play in their final tournament of the 2024-25 season next week, the Dr. Edwin Cottrell Invitational, hosted by West Chester University on April 7-8, 2025.
