Women's Track and Field Team Named CACC Team Sportsmanship Award Winner

The Central Atlantic collegiate conference announced their Men's and women's Track and Field Major Awards Thursday afternoon which included coach of the year, athletes of the year, rookies of the year and the team sportsmanship award winners.

The Chestnut Hill College Women's Track and Field team has been named the winner of the 2025 CACC Team Sportsmanship award.

The CACC Team Sportsmanship Award recognizes teams that demonstrate outstanding character and class throughout the season. It is voted on by the league's head coaches, who consider the team's conduct, fair play, and overall sportsmanship in and out of competition. 

The voting illustrated the coaches' belief that Head Coach Ashley Johnson's squad demonstrated outstanding class, character and sportsmanship throughout the 2025 season. 

The women's track and field team becomes the third Chestnut Hill athletic program to earn te CACC Team Sportsmanship Award during the 2024-25 academic year, joining the men's and women's cross country teams in the fall.
