Gabby Hassler became the Chestnut Hill college Women's Track Team's first competitor to qualify for the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Saturday's Danny Curran invitational hosted by Widener University.
Hassler qualified in the 3,000-meter steeplechase event. She finished 19th overall with a time of 13:30, becoming the Griffins' first qualifier this season and the fourth steeplechase runner to qualify among all the CACC schools.
Hassler also competed in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing fourth in her heat and 32nd overall with a time of 1:22.95
The women's track and field team returns to action on Saturday, April 4, 2026 when they compete at the Ursinus College Springfest meet in Collegeville, Pennsylvania.
