Two members of the Chestnut Hill College Women's Track and Field team competed at the 21st Annual Paul Kaiser Classic on Saturday, hosted by Shippensburg university in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.
Gabby Hassler competed in the 3,000 meter steeplechase and the 400 meter hurdles race while Soleil Casseus competed in the 400 meter dash.
Hassler opened up the day for the women's team with an eighth place finish in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 13:49.90
Casseus turned in a personal-best time in the 400-meter dash with as time of 1:17.18, finishing 24th overall.
The 400 meter hurdles was the final event of the day for the women's team with Hassler completing the event in 1:20.85Â to finish in 16th place.
Next up for the women's team will be the Central Atlantic Collegiate conference championship on May 1-2 at Georgian court University.  Hassler and Casseus will represent the team with both athletes competing in the 3,000 meter steeplechase.
