Members of the Chestnut Hill College Women's Track and Field team competed in Saturday's Ursinus College Outdoor Track and Field Springfest in Collegeville, Pennsylvania.
Senior Gabby Hassler competed in the javelin throw and the 400 meter hurdles. In the javelin throw, Hassler finished 23rd overall with a toss of 13.65 meters (44'9"). On the track, Hassler turned in time of 1:18.35 for the 400 meter hurdles, finishing in 16th place.
Freshman Gesielyz Sanchez competed in two throwing events, the javelin and discus. In the javelin she set a personal best mark with a toss of 11.82 meters (38'9"), placing 24th overall  In the discus throw she had a toss of 14.43 meters (47' 4").
The women's track and field team returns to action on Saturday, April 11, 2026 when they compete at the Oscar Moore Classic hosted by Rowan University.
