Chestnut Hill College Baseball player Jake Schweiker was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association East Region All-Defensive Team in an announcement made by the organization on Thursday.

Schweiker becomes the first Chestnut Hill College player to earn East Region all-defensive team honors.

In 11 appearances on the mound this season, Schweiker committed just one error, occurring in the Griffins' season opener against New Haven.  Schweiker went on to record ten straight errorless appearances throughout the rst of the season, finishing with a .958  fielding percentage (24 chances).

Career-wise Schweiker committed just three errors in 50 appearances on the mound (192.1 innings pitched).  He finished his career with a .956 fielding percentage. (68 total chances).

The Chestnut Hill College baseball team finished the 2025 season with a 25-22 record before falling in the first round of the Central Atlantic Collegaite Conference playoffs.
