Chestnut Hill College sophomore runner  Soleil Casseus has been named to the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Track and Field All-Academic Team in an announcement made by the conference office.

Casseus is a first time honoree and one of 39 student-athletes from all ten conference schools that sponsor track and field.

To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must possess a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and be in his/her second year at his/her current institution. New for 2025-26, honorees must also either meet a CACC Championship qualifying standard or compete in the CACC Championship meet.

An exercise science major, Casseus has earned CACC Academic Honor Roll and Dean's List accolades in each of her first three semesters at Chestnut Hill, after enrolling as a mid-year transfer in Spring of 2025.  Earlier this spring she was named an 2026 Arthur Ashe Sports Scholar Award winner for Track and field earning second team honors.

Since Chestnut Hill began sponsoring track and field in 2014, 17 different Griffin women's track and field athletes have been named to the CACC Women's Track and Field All-Academic Team a total of 35 times.  Six athletes have earned all-academic honors three times, while an additional six athletes have earned the honor twice.
