The United States Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) recently announced their NCAA Division II All-Academic Individual and Team honors  with the Chestnut Hill College Women's Track and Field Team designated as an All-Academic Team for the 2025-2026 Track and Field season.

The program is under the direction of first-year head coach  Ryan O'Hara.

In order to earn All-Academic Team status, the cumulative GPA (not 2025-26 academic year, not semester) for all student-athletes on the institution's NCAA Squad List for Indoor and/or Outdoor Track and Field must be 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

The women's track team was one of 137 Division II programs to earn All-Academic status and also one of just four institutions from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference to earn All-Academic Team honors.  As a team, the Griffins posted a 3.48 cumulative team grade point average, second highest among the CACC schools recognized.  In addition, Chestnut Hill was one of only 11 Division II East Region schools to earn All-Academic Team status.

This year's honors for the women's team marks the fifth time in  program history that the team has earned USTFCCCA all-Academic Team accolades, having earned the award following the 2017-18, 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2024-25 seasons.

The Griffins' women's track and field team is now the sixth Chestnut Hill team to earn all-Academic Team status from their respective sports association for the 2025-26 academic year, joining the  men's and women's tennis teams (ITA); the men's lacrosse Team (USILA); the men's basketball team (NABC) and the women's bowling team (NTCA).
