Ryan Cook (Laurel, MD), who used a 22-point second half to spur Chestnut Hill College to a 73-66 win over the Golden Lions. A team effort earned the Griffins a narrow 34-32 halftime advantage before Cook erupted in the closing frame. He totaled seven, three-point baskets in the contest, tying both personal and College records.
Chestnut Hill College (3-2) never trailed in the second half feeding Cook to a career performance. Cook scored the Griffins' opening nine points of the second half to help the home team extend their two-point halftime lead to a 46-39 edge with 14:36 left to play. The Griffins led by as many as ten points, 51-41, but Dowling College (2-4) cut that lead down to four, 62-58, with just more than five minutes remaining (5:10) on the play of junior guard
Mike Hill (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and senior forward
Josh Lowe (Hauppauge, N.Y.). Hill and Lowe scored 16 and 13 points, respectively, but at the end of the day it was not enough to catch the Griffins. Hill and Lowe grabbed seven rebounds apiece while senior guard

Cook scored 30 points in the affair leading all scorers and reaching a new career-high. In the process, Cook also tied the College and personal record with seven, three-point baskets. Cook was 11-of-18 (61.1%) from the field including his seven long-distance buckets; he also grabbed ten rebounds in the contest for his second career double-double. Graduate forward

Mark DiRugeris Jr. (Woodbury, NJ) pitched in with ten points. DiRugeris and freshman guard
