Lafayette Hill, PA – (4/27/2011) – Taking on the spotlight, senior midfielder Jillian Sanger (Bowmansville, PA) scored the first goal of overtime and spirited Chestnut Hill College to a 14-12 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victory over Wilmington University. She captained a united front as one of five Griffins to score at least two goals; junior attack Kelly McKay (Perkasie, PA) and sophomore midfielder Lindsay Alexander (Huntingdon Valley, PA) led the group with three each. During this evening's opening ceremonies, the Chestnut Hill College Athletic Department recognized Sanger for accomplishments and completion of her collegiate career.

Chestnut Hill College (7-10, 5-7) opened with three goals, the Wildcats took their turn, and at halftime the contest was even, 5-5. Sanger drew first blood with a goal at 3:32, 12-11, and Alexander echoed the effort 12 seconds later (3:20), 13-11. She was supported by a pair of midfielders; junior Eliza Burk (Perry Hall, MD) and sophomore Elizabeth Case (Perry Hall, MD).
