Box Score Philadelphia, PA – (1/16/2012) – Familiar foes met at Sorgenti Arena this evening as Chestnut Hill College served as host to local Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) rival, Philadelphia University. The Lady Rams walked away as the victor, edging out the Griffins by three points in each half for a 63-57 final. Washington collected her 12
th rebound of the contest and promptly returned it for two points, tying the contest at 55-55 with 1:26 remaining. Philadelphia University (12-4, 7-1) went to junior forward Kristen Blye (Chester Springs, PA) to regain the advantage, 57-55 (1:08). Chestnut Hill College (2-12, 1-6) came up short on their following possession and quickly lost ground as senior guard Stephanie Agger (Wildwood Crest, NJ) hit six consecutive free throws to carry the Lady Rams to victory.
Wooding led the Lady Rams with 18 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and a steal. Three other Lady Rams finished in double figures; Blye totaled 12 points, while senior forward Tyler Peltzer (Holland, PA) and sophomore forward Samantha Morris (Wenonah, NJ) each scored 11 points. Agger offered nine points, six rebounds, five assists, a block, and a steal.
Washington scored 12 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for her first double-double of the season, the third such effort of her Griffin career. She was support by 12 points, five rebounds, and a couple of pin-point assists from senior guard

Olivia Gorczynski (Parlin, NJ) chipped in with ten points; she hit two from beyond the arch (2-of-4, 50.0%).
