Four members of the Chestnut Hill College Women's Basketball team have been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Women's Basketball team in an announcement made by the organization and the CSC Academic All-America® committee
Named to the Academic All-District® team were senior Kaya Mobley and sophomores Anahita Jackson, Anaisah Malone and Tikyra Miller All four are earning Academic All-District honors for the first time.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field or court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To be eligible for Academic All-District® accolades, student-athletes must be at least at sophomore athletically and academically, appear in 90 percent of their team's contests or start in 66% and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better. Graduate students must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA in both their undergraduate and graduate programs.
Mobley sports a dual major of Early Education and Special Education. The senior guard appeared in all 30 games this season while starting 26. She finished second on the team in assists with 88 and third in steals with 39. Joining the Griffins in 2024, Mobley has produced 127 career assists to rank among the Griffins' top 20 all-time assist leaders. A dean's list student at Chestnut Hill, Kaya has been named to the CACC Academic Honor Roll is every semester since enrolling at the College.
Jackson, a criminal justice major, earned CACC Academic Honor Roll accolades in each of her first three semesters in addition to Dean's List accolades. She has appeared in 27 games this season and was third on the team with 26 three point field goals made, hitting a career high five three-pointers vs. D'Youville in November and scoring a career high 17 points vs. Shippensburg.
Malone also sports a dual major of Early Education and Special education. She sophomore guard appeared in 22 games this season, averaging nine minutes a game. In each of her first three semesters at Chestnut Hill, Malone has earned CACC Academic Honor Roll status as well as Dean's List honors. She scored a career high 11 points against Post University in November.
Miller is an accounting major with a sports management minor. Like her two classmates, she has earned CACC Academic Honor Roll accolades in each of her first three semesters in addition to Dean's List accolades. Miller played in al 30 games, starting in 29. She was the third leading scorer on the team averaging 9.1 points per game and was fourth on the team with 64 assists.
Academic All-District® honorees are reviewed by a group of Academic All-America® committee members for consideration for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® national ballot, where first, second and third team Academic All-America® honorees are chosen by the CSC Division II membership and the Academic All-America® core committee. Honorees will be announced in mid-April.
