The title fight against #1 Concordia College (NY) is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. opening serve at the Chestnut Hill College Tennis Courts.

Seeking revenge for an 8-1 regular season loss, Chestnut Hill College (11-3) grabbed the edge on #2 Goldey-Beacom College (11-3) with two wins in the double round. Seniors, Anastasiya Shcherbakova (Minsk, Belrus) and Maria Parapouras (Victoria, Australia) were the first to claim victory for the Griffins as they claimed number one doubles 8-5. The Lightning evened the match with an 8-6 win at number two doubles, but freshmen Iman Williams-Mulesa (Pickering, Ontario) and Axe Owens (Trenton, N.J.) gave the Griffins the edge once again with a 9-7 triumph at number three doubles.

The match went back-and-forth in singles play as the Lightning knotted the contest again at 2-2 on a 6-3, 6-0 win at number four singles, before taking a 3-2 lead with another victory at number six singles, 6-1, 6-4. The Griffins responded by winning two of the next three singles matches to finish with Parapouras taking number three singles 6-2, 6-4, and Williams-Mulesa evening the match at 4-4 on a 6-2, 5-4 victory.
