A team effort pushed the Eagles advantage over Chestnut Hill College (1-8, 0-4) to as many as 13 points, 24-11, midway through the first half (10:11), but behind the hustle of Alexander and sophomore guard
Lila Jones (Philadelphia, Pa.) the Griffins answered on a 18-9 swing that left the spread at 33-29 with 1:47 remaining. Halftime settled at 38-31 Eagles, but the visitors saw more of Alexander and Jones in the second half.
