Lafayette Hill, PA – (3/28/2012) – Junior midfielder
Brianne Timony (Allentown, NJ) scored the first goal of today's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest, but a nine-goal Dominican College run propelled the Lady Chargers to an eventual 20-8 win over Chestnut Hill College. Timony and sophomore attack
Kelly Campbell (Hatboro, PA) scored two goal apiece to the lead the Griffins.
Sophomore attack KC Jentzen (Pearl River, NY) got Dominican College (3-5, 3-2) on a roll, scoring twice after Timony's opening goal, 2-1. The Lady Chargers controlled the flow of play from there on out as seven more shots found the back of the net before Chestnut Hill College (1-5, 1-3) answered on Timony's second goal at 9:43, 9-2. Unfortunately, a Lady Charger four-goal run followed and left the halftime spread at ten, 14-4. After intermission, the Griffins scored three of the first four second-half goals, 15-7, but with only 14:47 remaining in regulation there was not enough time to close the gap.

Defensively, junior midfielder Elizabeth Schmidt (Montgomery, NY) led with four ground ball recoveries; she also recorded four draws in the affair.
