Maria Parapouras (Victoria, Australia) was the only perfect Griffin, scoring wins at number three singles and number two doubles with sophomore
Morgan Oechsle (Coopersburg, Pa.).
Chestnut Hill College (4-1, 3-1) scored the afternoon's first point at number two doubles, 8-5, but Concordia College (NY) (3-0, 3-0) left doubles play with the lead. Parapouras and Oechsle were the winners at number two doubles, but the Clippers won number one and number three doubles by finals of 8-6 and 8-4, respectively.
The Clippers carried the momentum into singles play, claiming the next three points at number four, 6-2, 6-1, number five, 6-3, 6-1, and number one singles, 6-1, 6-2. Parapouras ignited the Griffins pride with a her 6-3, 6-4 win at number three singles, but wins at number two singles by senior
