Philadelphia, Pa. – (4/13/2013) - After a five-game road trip, Chestnut Hill College men's tennis team returned home to complete their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) schedule with a 9-0 triumph over Bloomfield College. The Griffins won 8-0 in each doubles flight to swiftly progress the contest to individual play where they completed the sweep of the Deacons.

Chestnut Hill College (15-6, 5-1) wasted no time gaining an advantage over Bloomfield College (0-9, 0-6) as they won all three doubles matches by an 8-0 final. Junior Yoann Pham (Boulogne-Billancourt, France) and sophomore Steven Say (Cannes, France) teamed up for the win a number one doubles, while sophomore Michael Humes (Mount Laurel, N.J.) and junior Manuel Ceniceros (Mexico City, Mexico) won number two doubles by the same score. Following suit, junior Jeramy Solema (Briarwood, N.Y.) and freshman Kevin Taylor (Burlington, N.J.) took the third team flight.

The Griffins carried their momentum into singles play, where Humes headlined a lineup that demoralized any hope of a Deacon rally. Taylor, sophomore Sammy Atri (Mexico City, Mexico), and Solema took numbers four, five, and six singles 6-0, 6-0, respectively. Humes won 6-2, 6-0 at number one singles, Pham followed at number two singles 6-1, 6-0, and Say secured number three singles, 6-0, 6-2.
