Lea Sanders (North Merrick, N.Y.) between four Rams tallies to leave the Griffins down 4-2 with the later-half of the first period remaining (15:36). The back-and-forth play would continue until halftime as the Rams carried an 8-6 advantage into intermission. With the first two goals of the second half, the Griffins would tie the contest at 8-8 when Campbell delivered her second goal of the game on a free position shot at 29:00. Sophomore defender Kelsey Phelan (Thurmont, M.D.) scored three goals and recorded five draw controls while sophomore attack Hunter Morris (Severna Park, M.D.), freshman attack Alex green (Boonsboro, M.D.), and junior attack Georgia Karr (Eldersburg, Md.) recorded two goals each. In goal, junior Lily Schmulowitz (Baltimore, Md.) made six saves and recovered a ground ball in the win (3-0).

Katie Joe Lang (Manassas, Va.) led the Griffin defense. Sanders added three draws, two caused turnovers, and two ground balls to her goal while Lang made nine saves and recovered a ground ball in the loss (0-2).
The women's lacrosse team continues their schedule in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, where they meet Seton Hill University for a 1:00 p.m. contest on Saturday, March 8.
