KarlaAne Klouda (Belvidere, N.J.) who got the Griffins on the scoreboard with a free position goal at the 20-minute mark (20:02), 6-1. The Tigers responded and triggered an exchange of tallies that brought the score to 10-5 heading to the final five minutes of the frame (5:34), where they outscored the Griffins 4-1 to a 14-6 halftime edge. After intermission, Sanders scored an unassisted goal to bring the spread to seven goals, 14-7 (29:08), but that is when another Tigers run reestablished the deficit at 16 goals, 23-7, heading to the final ten minutes of play (10:41). Never giving up, Sanders spirited the Griffins for a late 3-1 run that brought the score to 24-10 for the final horn.
Sophomore midfielder Paige Settar (Mullica Hill, N.J.) and sophomore attack Nicole Braungart (Medford, N.J.) led the home team with six goals apiece; Settar added a ground ball recovery and five draws to her production while Braungart provided an assist, two ground balls, a draw, and a caused turnover to hers. In goal, sophomore Grace Deckert (Jarrettsville, Md.) made seven saves in the win (8-8).
