Box Score Lafayette Hill, Pa. - (4/5/2014) – In a Chestnut Hill College first-half, the Griffins outscored their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) rival, Nyack College 10-1. But, in a much more competitive second half the Griffins needed all the production they could muster to deny the Warrior rally in a 16-11 victory. Freshman midfielder Alicia Herbert (Little Egg Harbor, N.J.) led a group of four Griffins who scored three goals in the contest with an additional three assists, a ground ball, and four draws.
 
Herbert found freshman midfielder Lea Sanders (North Merrick, N.Y.) for the first goal of the game, 1-0 at 27:08, and after a unassisted goal from senior attack Kelly Campbell (Hatboro, Pa.) at 24:15, 2-0, and a free position goal from freshman midfielder Jacklyn O'Leary (East Meadow, N.Y.), Sanders second goal made it 4-0 at 22:18. Herbert scored again, 5-0 at 16:58, before Nyack College (1-10, 0-7) offered its only first half contribution in Chestnut Hill College's (2-9, 2-3) run to a 10-1 halftime advantage. In the second half, sophomore midfielder Lauren Lebo (West Simsbury, Conn.) was the Warriors guiding force. She scored seven times, brining the visitors within four, 15-11, in the final minutes of play (1:34). Senior midfielder Mary Markowski (Parkton, Md.) added the last goal, 16-11, her second, just 19 seconds later (1:15).
 
Lebo finished the affair with eight goals, a ground ball, seven draws, and a caused turnover. Three others recorded a goal while freshman goalkeeper Jacqueline Simeon (Hartford, Conn.) made seven saves and caused a turnover in the loss (1-10).
 
Sanders, O'Leary, and Campbell were the other Griffins to record hat tricks. Sanders added four ground balls, five draws, and three caused turnovers to hers, while O'Leary recorded two assists and recovered a draw in addition to hers. Campbell also provided an assist. Freshman goalkeeper Katie Joe Lang (Manassas, Va.) totaled three saves in the win (2-9).
