Box Score Philadelphia, Pa. - (1/24/2015) – Little went right for Chestnut Hill College this afternoon, as visiting Concordia College (NY) fired on all cylinders on the way to a 92-72 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) result inside Sorgenti Arena.

Chestnut Hill College (4-13, 3-7) took its lone lead on a layup by senior guard Christian Walck (Lancaster, Pa.), 8-6 (14:37). But Concordia College (9-9, 6-3) responded with five straight points from sophomore guard Andrew Peacock (Washington, D.C.) and never trailed again. The Clippers went on to make eight of their first 10 from three-point range, opening up a 24-12 lead with a 10-0 run and pushing the advantage to 39-16 (5:14) with 15 unanswered points before taking a 43-25 discrepancy into halftime. The Griffins cut the deficit to 18 on five separate occasions in the second half but could get no closer; Concordia College twice led by as many as 29 before deciding on a 20-point final spread.

Sophomore Jalen Heath (Joliet, Ill.) paced five Clippers in double figures with 18 points to complement game highs of five assists and three steals. Heath knocked down three of Concordia College's nine 3-pointers and was a perfect 5-of-5 at the foul line. Peacock and junior forward Peter Aguilar each offered 17 points, with the former collecting six rebounds and four assists in the process. Freshman forward Justyn Garnder was 5-for-5 from the field en route to 10 points, an output matched by junior guard Jamie Holder. The Clippers went a robust 21-of-26 (80.8%) from the stripe.

Freshman forward Edward McWade (Wildwood, N.J.) did his best to keep the Griffins within shouting distance, matching a career high with 18 points - all in the second half - on 6-of-8 (75.0%) shooting and a 6-of-7 (85.7%) free-throw effort; he also pulled down six rebounds. Walck joined him in double figures with 13 points, while junior forward Noel Hightower (Easton, Pa.) came up just short of a double-double with 11 boards and a season-high-tying eight points. Freshman guard Demetrius Isaac (Philadelphia, Pa.) contributed seven points and four of the team's seven assists (to 19 turnovers), senior center Seamus Radtke (Philadelphia, Pa.) had seven points, and sophomore forward Gerald Evariste (Philadelphia, Pa.) paired four points with five rebounds and a pair of rejections.

Chestnut Hill College returns to action against Griffin men's basketball alumnus and former assistant coach Dan Burke '08, who brings his Wilmington University (Del.) squad to Sorgenti Arena on Tuesday, January 27. Tip is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
