Two Men's Basketball Players are Named to the 2025-26 CACC Men's Basketball All-Academic Team

Two members of the Chestnut Hill College Men's Basketball team have been named to the 2025-26 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball All-Academic Team in an announcement made by the conference office.

Named to the team were seniors Alejandro Redondo Cybak and Landon Shivers.  Cybak is earning All-Academic Team honors for the second consecutive year while Shivers is a first time honoree. A total of 12 student-athletes were named to this year's CACC all-Academic Team, representing eight conference institutions.

To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must possess a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and be in his/her second year at his/her current institution. New for 2025-26, honorees must also either compete in at least two-thirds of his/her team's games or start at least half.

Cybak, a senior post player and a computer science major, has earned Dean's List honors in every semester at Chestnut Hill and was named to the CACC Academic Honor Roll in each of the last five semesters.  He has appeared in every game this season for the Griffins.

Shivers, a business administration and management major, joined the Griffins in 2024 after playing two seasons at Caldwell University. He has appeared in 27 games this season.  He earned Dean's List honors and earned CACC Academic Honor Roll status in every semester while at Chestnut Hill.

Since joining the CACC for the 2007-08 season, eight  Griffin men's basketball players have earned CACC Men's Basketball All-Academic Team honors a total of 15 times in the school's 18-year history as a conference member.  Three players, including Cybak have earned the honor twice while two additional players are three time honorees.
