Chris Evans (Norristown, Pa.) finished in double figures for Chestnut Hill College.

Chestnut Hill College (2-3) initially made some headway in reversing the momentum with a pair of three pointers from sophomore forward
Bryant Quill (Pottstown, Pa.) and the supporting guard play of freshman
Nasir Bell (Philadelphia, Pa.), but just past the four-minute (3:51) the 10-point deficit, 33-23, remained. The Penmen led grew to as many as 14 points, 46-32, late in the period before settling at 10 points, 46-36 (0:02), with a pair of free throws from sophomore guard
Liban Awl (Manassas, Va.) and a long last-second outlet from freshman guard
Kevin McWade (Wildwood, N.J.) to Bell.

Jalil Myers (Philadelphia, Pa.) and the younger McWade slightly narrowed the final margin, 88-64.
