Box Score | Old Westbury, N.Y. - (5/9/2016) – A sweep of doubles play aligned #3 Chestnut Hill College for an eventual 5-2 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II East Regional victory over #6 Adelphi University. The Griffins used the advantage to dispose of the Panthers in singles play, where senior Henry Boyle (London, England) and freshman Pierre Kohler (Les Sables d'Olonne, France) supplied the necessary tallies for victory on either side of a pair of individual Panther points.
 
Chestnut Hill College (15-7) earned their wings with a trio of doubles wins. The victories came sequentially at number three (8-3), number two (8-6), and number one (9-7) singles thanks to the respective efforts of Boyle and fellow senior Kevin Taylor (Burlington, N.J.), sophomore countrymen Lucas Bocaletto (Itatiba, Brazil) and Pedro Festugato Regalin (Caxias do Sul, Brazil), and the regionally-ranked duo of Kohler and junior Jonathan Ducretot (Antibes, France).
 
Boyle added the fourth Scarlet and Gold point with is 7-5, 6-0, win at number six singles (4-0), but the Panthers refused to go down without a fight. Adelphi University (11-9) got on the scoreboard with a 6-3, 6-4, win at number one singles and a 6-4, 7-5, win at number three singles (4-2). Fortunately, the rally was cut short with Kohler's 6-4, 7-5, win at number two singles (5-2).
