Dambach Tabbed As Inside Lacrosse 2017 Face-Off Yearbook Preseason All-American

Baltimore, Md. – (1/12/2017) – Unveiled yesterday, Wednesday, February 11, by InsideLacrosse.com, Chestnut Hill College senior attack Alec Dambach (Howell, N.J.) was one of 16 student-athletes selected to the 2017 Face-Off Yearbook Preseason All-American Third Team. Dambach, an All-East Coast Conference (ECC) Second Team selection a season ago, tied the Chestnut Hill College single-season scoring record in 2016, tallying 57 points (37 goals and 20 assists) en route to being named the team's Most Valuable Player (MVP).
 
As a junior in 2015 Dambach totaled seven games of five points or more, establishing a new career-high in goals (37) and tying his personal best is assists with 20. He also hustled to 34 groundballs and caused four turnovers in his MVP performance. Dambach's best production of the 2016 season came in a 15-5 victory over Dominican College on April 2 as he hit up the Chargers for a career-high six goals in an eight-point effort that included five ground ball recoveries. His totals in goals (37), assists (20), and points (57) respectively ranked him sixth, tied for fifth, and tied for fourth among his ECC competitors.
 
Dambach looks to cement his place as one of the all-time greats to wear the Scarlet and Gold in the 2016 season. He currently ranks second all-time at Chestnut Hill College in points (120); ranking first in school history in assists (53) and second in goals (67).
