Men's Lacrosse Earns Fifth Consecutive USILA Team Academic Award

The United State Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) has announced their Team Academic Award winners for the 2025 season with the Chestnut Hill College Men's Lacrosse team earning recognition for the fifth consecutive year.

In order to be recognized by the USILA as a Team Academic Award winner, the program must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and the school must be a USILA member.  The Griffins posted a cumulative grade point average of 3.290 

The men's lacrosse program was one of 25 NCAA Division II schools selected as USILA Team Academic Award winners.  This list also included Division II National Champions Adelphi University.   Lynn University had the highest  g.p.a. in the nation for division II.

The Griffins are also just one of seven Division II programs nationally and five in the North Region that have earned the USILA Team Academic Award in each of the last five seasons.

Chestnut Hill finished 2025 with a 7-6 record reaching the CACC Semi-Final, losing to eventual champion Georgian Court University.   The program also boasted six CSC Academic All-District honorees, one Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area selections and placed five players on the CACC all-Academic Team.
