Chestnut Hill College (5-10) was playing catch up after affording Molloy College (10-4) a 3-0 head start. Galantich broke up the shutout at 20:27 with an unassisted score, 3-1. The real Scarlet and Gold response came a little latter with free position goals from O'Leary (4-2 at 13:51), Galantich (4-3 at 9:38), and Perry leaving the Griffins behind 5-4 with 5:58 remaining in the first half. Unfortunately, Perry's goal was the Griffins' last of the period as the Lions separated for a 9-4 halftime lead before eventually claiming a nine-goal, 19-10, victory.
Senior midfielder Cooper Sesselman (Lindenhurst, N.J.) headlined the Lions' half of the box score with seven goals, two assists, a ground ball, and a caused turnover. Sophomore attack Brianna Wilson (Levittown, N.Y.) was her top supporter with four goals, an assist, a ground ball, seven draws, and a caused turnover. In goal, sophomore Alyssa Chetti (West Babylon, N.Y.) (10-4) made six saves and two ground balls.

Katie Joe Lang (Manassas, Va.) (5-8) made 12 saves and recovered a ground ball.
Chestnut Hill College returns to their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) schedule on Saturday, April 22, for their 2017 regular season finale, which is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. opening draw at Nyack College.
