Sinking Spring, Pa. – (10/14/2018) – Chestnut Hill College concluded play at Kutztown University's Bud Whitman Memorial with a 1-4 performance against #8 Delaware State University, St. Francis University, St. Francis Brooklyn College, Daemen College, and Bloomfield College to finish 14^th of 20 (4,179 pins) at Berks Lanes in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania. The Griffins finished the tournament with 6-4 record and 8,391 total pins (12 of 20 (4,212 pins)/14 of 20 (4,179 pins)).
 
The Scarlet and Gold lost at 926-842 opening match to #8 Delaware State Uiniversity. Chestnut Hill College (6-4) was led that game by sophomore Christina Del Vecchio (Warrington, Pa.), who scored a 203. Game two saw St. Francis Brooklyn College shoot a 935 to the Griffins' 816. Senior Rebeccah Edelman (Oakford, Pa.) led the team with a 170. In game three, the Griffins were led by a 215 from junior Stephanie Brogna (Morganville, N.J.) and a 203 from sophomore Laura Oliver (Bayville, N.J.), but lost to #15 ranked St Francis University by a 924-881 measure. In game four, Edelman rolled a 181 and sophomore Lauren Klein (Horsham, Pa.) added a 180 to spirit Chestnut Hill College for a 836-781 win over Bloomfield College. Daemen College defeated the Griffins in game five, 819-804. The Scarlet and Gold finished 1-4 today but 6-4 on the weekend.
 
Chestnut Hill College will be back on Friday, November 2, when they visit Parkway Lanes in Glen Allen, Virginia for the Virginia Union University Invitational.
