Chestnut Hill College (16-16, 11-7) win the opener with nine runs between the eighth and ninth innings. Cattai was the benefactor of the comeback, earning his second win (2-2) of the season with three-and-a-third innings (3.1) innings of scoreless relief. Franklin Ramirez (Reading, Pa.), 1-0. Concordia College (10-23, 5-13) temporarily surpassed the Scarlet and Gold with a two-run sixth inning, 2-1, but were overwhelmed with four Griffins runs in the eighth inning, 5-2, and five more Scarlet and Gold runs in the ninth inning, 10-2. In game two, the Scarlet and Gold scored three runs in the third inning and relied on a solid start from Mangan to complete the sweep. The Clippers scored a run in their first at-bat, 1-0, but we quickly overshadowed by the Griffins' three-run second. There, a beaming of sophomore shortstop
Jared Healey (Philadelphia, Pa.), a Dietz double down the left field line, and a Small home run to left field gave Chestnut Hill College a 3-1 advantage. The Griffins added a run in the fourth inning, 4-1, and eventually won the affair by a 10-3 measure thanks to a six-run ninth inning. Dietz doubled in the second inning, singled in the fourth inning, and doubled in the seventh inning to contribute to three of the Griffins' 10 runs.
