Chestnut Hill College Women's Tennis players
Carlota Garcia Arguelles and
Alison Isaac have been named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) All-Conference Second Team in voting done by the conference seven head coaches.
Garcia Arguelles (Madrid, Spain) earns CACC all-Conference honors for the third consecutive season, having been named to the CACC All-Conference First Team in Spring of 2021 and earning second team last season.
Isaac (Auburn, Calif.), a transfer from hope International college is earning her first All-CACC nod.
In dual competition this season, Garcia Arguelles produced a 7-6 singles record, splitting time between the #1 and #2 singles positions and an 8-5 record playing at #1 doubles. In conference matches she was 4-6 in singles, earning two wins over Dominican University along with wins over Post and Goldey-Beacom and was 5-5 in doubles with wins over the #1 doubles teams from the top two teams in the CACC, Wilmington University and Jefferson along with two wins against Dominican and another against Goldey-Beacom.
Isaac produced a 9-4 record in singles splitting time between the #2 and #1 slots. She recorded singles wins against two of the top players in the league, one from Post University and last year's CACC Player of the Year Neus Ramos Moreno of Wilmington. She also had two wins against Goldey-Beacom, a second against Post and another against Dominican. In doubles play, Isaac was 12-1 in dual competition on the season with the only loss coming against Jefferson in the final regular season conference match yesterday.
The Chestnut Hill College Women's tennis team will face top seed Wilmington University when the CACC Tournament Championship opens at Delcastle Tennis Center in Wilmington, Delaware on Saturday, October 22, 2022. First serve is at 10:00 a.m.
