The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference announced their 2025 women's Tennis All-conference Teams and major award winners Thursday morning with Chestnut Hill College women's tennis players Lilian Bandel and Elena Arenas Guisasola among those recognized by the conference
In voting done by the league's six coaches, Bandel and Arenas Guisasola were selected to the all-conference team as second team honorees. Bandel earns all-CACC accolades for the second consecutive season while Arenas, the 2023 CACC Co-Rookie of the Year gains her first all-CACC nod.
Bandel, a second team all-CACC honoree in 2024 has produced a 13-4 overall mark in singles play this season, including a 8-1 mark in conference matches. In doubles, Bandel is 7-8 overall and 5-5 in in conference matches. The junior player also reached the round of 16 in singles and doubles at the ITA East Region Championship last month in Queens, New York.
Arenas has produced a 6-4 conference record in double play this season en route to a 9-7 overall mark. Most recently she has teamed up with Bandel at #1 doubles for conference matches. She also reached the round of 16 in doubles, teaming with Bandel at the ITA East Region Championship. She has earned four conference wins in singles this season and has seven singles wins overall.
The Women's Tennis has qualified for the CACC Tournament Championship for the seventh consecutive season. The team has reached the championship match twice in that time span, most recently last season and also during the 2020-21 season. The Griffins will open up tournament play against either #1 seed Jefferson or #2 seed Wilmington Saturday at the Delcastle Tennis Center in Wilmington, Delaware.
