INDIANAPOLIS (March 6) – The Chestnut Hill College Women's Basketball team has earned the second seed as an at-large selection in the upcoming East Regional of the NCAA Tournament as announced late Sunday night on www.ncaa.com.

The Griffins  (24-6) will be making their first appearance in the NCAA Division II Tournament  and will face #7 seed Pace University (21-7) on Friday March 11, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. at Southern New Hampshire University's Stan Spirou Gymnasium.

Southern New Hampshire University earned the top seed and will host the eight-team regional tournament in Manchester, New Hampshire. The first-round games are scheduled for Friday, March 11, with the second-round contests slated for Saturday, March 12, and the regional championship set for Monday, March 14. In the other first-round game in the early session, #3 seed University of the Sciences will play #6 seed LeMoyne College at noon. In the evening session, host Southern New Hampshire will face #8 Daemen College at 5:00 p.m. and  #4 Jefferson University will play #5 Bentley at 7:30 p.m.
