Elijah Fogg broke the school record for the shot put as the Chestnut Hill College men's track and Field Team qualified two more athletes for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championships as the Griffins competed at the Paul Kaiser Invitational in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania on Saturday.

The Griffins also recorded six top 20 finishes and five collegiate personal best marks were established.  The Paul Kaiser Invitational is one of the biggest regular season meets that the Griffins participated in this season with 30 schools fielding teams.

Fogg broke the old record of 11.43 meters on his first throw in the shot put competition with his throw of 11.44 meters (about ½ inch further than the previous mark).  He finished in 18th place overall and bettered his qualifying mark for the CACC meet.  His record throw of 11.44 meters ranks 11th among conference shot putters.
